Crystal Palace in race with Stoke City to sign €20m Senegal international in January

Crystal Palace in race with Stoke City to sign €20m Senegal international in January

Premier League side Crystal Palace have joined the race to sign Galatasaray midfielder Badou Ndiaye.

According to the Turkish outlet AMK, the Eagles are interested in signing the Senegal international in January.

Per the source, Stoke City are also in the race to sign the combative midfielder. AMK goes on to state that Galatasaray will only be willing to do business in January if they receive a bid in the region fo €20 million.

Both Palace boss Roy Hodgson and newly appointed Stoke City manager Paul Lambert are looking to bolster their squad’s over the January transfer window.

Ndiaye only joined Galatasaray over the summer and has established himself as a first-team regular since his move from Osmanlispor.

The Lions are currently in the midst of a tightly contested title race and are not under pressure to sell Ndiaye.

The star midfielder is expected to be back in action for Galatasaray when they take on Kayserispor on Monday.
