Douglas has been in impressive form for Konyaspor this season with five assists in 25 appearances for the Anatolian Eagles.

The Scottish defender is statistically the highest rated player in the Konyaspor squad according to Whoscored.

The 27-year-old left-back joined Konyaspor from Lech Poznan last season.

Douglas used to be a refrigeration engineer during his time playing for the amateur club Queens Park in Scotland.

The left-back enjoyed stints at Queens Park, Dundee United and Poznan before joining Konyaspor.

The Eagles are currently 9th in the Turkish league table on 40 points after games. Konyaspor are safe from a relegation battle but face little hope of a European competition finish.
