Crystal Palace to use Bolasie money to sign Liverpool striker, Turkish giants also in the race

Crystal Palace are readying another move for Liverpool’s out-of-favour striker Christian Benteke.

The London based club have been closely linked with the Belgium international over the past month and the according to The Times, Palace are readying a new bid following the sale of Yannick Bolasie to Everton.

Palace offloaded Bolasie to Everton yesterday afternoon for £25 million. The club are now ready to re-invest the money in Liverpool’s out of favour star.

West Ham have also joined the race for out-of-favour Liverpool forward Christian Benteke according to 90min.

Meanwhile, Besiktas vice-president Ahmet Nur Cebi has confirmed that the club want Benteke on loan.

“Benteke is a player we are interested, we are pushing for him and would want him to be transferred to the club.” Cebi revealed to Turkish-Football.

Liverpool want to sell Benteke and head coach Jurgen Klopp has made it clear he has no plans for him next season after dropping him from the team that beat Arsenal 4-3.
