Crystal Palace v Liverpool – – Probable starting line-up’s – Emre Can into midfield?
Emre Can could be moved into midfield for Liverpool’s FA Cup clash against Crystal Palace tonight.
Liverpool assistant manager Colin Pascoe confirmed in a pre-match press conference that the 21-year-old could fielded in a midfield role due to injuries to captain Steven Gerrard and Lucas Leiva.
If Can is moved into midfield, the Croatian international Dejan Lovren is expected to fill in on the right side of defence.
Can has played the majority of his games at the right hand side of a three man defence despite being signed as a midfielder from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer.
The Germany U21 international has one goal and one assist in 22 appearances for Liverpool in all competitions this season.
