Beşiktaş striker Demba Ba has not been called up for the Senegal national team ahead of games against Egypt and Botswana.

Ba missed games against Egypt and Botswana with an injury last September but made his return for their double clash with Tunisia in October.

Senegal coach Alain Giresse is expected to play West Ham striker Diafra Sakho and Fenerbahçe striker Moussa Sow instead.

Fellow Süper Lig star Sow was called up for the African Cup of Nations Morocco 2015 qualifiers.

The Lions are currently second in Group G, three points behind leaders Tunisia and will face Egypt on November 15 before hosting Botswana four days later.

Ba joined Beşiktaş for £6 million from Chelsea last season and already has 7 goals and two assists for the Black Eagles this season.

The 29-year-old striker is expected to start for Beşiktaş against Partizan on Thursday 6 November 2014.

Ba has four goals in 21 appearances for Senegal.
