“It would be great to play in an atmosphere like the one against Arsenal in the Champions League playoffs,” Ba told Fanatik.

“It would be great to play in front of a full stadium again.”

The average crowd numbers dropped to 6,998 per-game at the end of week 18, less than half compared to this stage last season.

Beşiktaş have only averaged 15,000 supporters per-game despite the Atatürk Olympic stadium being a 72,000 capacity stadium.

The controversial Passolig e-ticketing system has been blamed for the drop in attendance.

The Passolig system is currently being taken to court by a non governmental organization named Supporter Rights Solidarity Center (Taraf-Der).

Taraf-Der are campaigning for the Passolig to be disbanded on grounds that the e-ticketing system violates the constitution and the European Convention on Human Rights.
