Demirbay is more like Nuri Şahin than Mesut Özil says agent [divider]
Kerem Demirbay has a playing style similar to Borussia Dortmund midfielder Nuri Şahin according to agent Ersin Akan.
Akan responded to comparisons made between Demirbay and Arsenal star Mesut Özil in an interview with Zaman by underlining that his client has more in common with Şahin.

“Mesut Özil and Kerem have different playing styles, Kerem is more similar to Nuri Şahin or Bruno Soriano at Villareal,” Akan said.
The 21-year-old central midfielder is renowned for his passing range and technical ability.
Like Özil and Şahin, Demirbay was born in Germany to Turkish parents and is eligible to represent his country of birth and the Crescent-Stars.
Demirbay is currently on loan at Bundesliga II outfit FC Kaiserslautern and has one goal and two assists in 13 appearances this season.
Kaiserslautern are currently fifth in the Bundesliga II, eight points behind league leaders Ingolstadt.
The 21-year-old central midfielder was born in Germany but represents the Turkish national team.
Demirbay is of Turkish heritage and has played for the Crescent-Stars at U19 and U21 level.
