Diego – ‘Arda Turan has great character’ [divider]
Fenerbahçe midfielder Diego Ribas revealed that his former Atletico Madrid teammate Arda Turan has great character and also believes he is an excellent player.
“Arda really is an excellent player and has great character, I am happy to have met him and call him my friend,” Diego told Fenerbahçe Newspaper February edition.

Diego joined Fenerbahçe on a free transfer from Atletico Madrid in the summer.
The Brazilian played alongside Turan in one of Atleti’s most memorable seasons in recent memory.
The former Atleti play-maker was part of the side which won the Spanish League and reached the UEFA Champions League final last season.
Diego has made one goals and three assists in 14 appearances in all competitions for the Yellow Canaries this sesaon.
The 29-year-old attacking midfielder still has two-years left on his contract.
Fenerbahçe are currently second in the Süper Lig just one point behind league leaders Beşiktaş who are on 44 points.
