Diego – ‘I have no problem with the system’ [divider]
Fenerbahçe midfielder Diego Ribas has revealed he has no problem with the system used by his new club.
“It would be wrong to criticise a successful system,” Diego said.
“I have to adapt to the team and the team have to adapt to me, it is a symbiotic relationship.
“I need time to settle and adapt, the coaches have done a great job in this regard.
“I have no complaints about the system, I just want to do my part for the team and show what I can do.”
Fenerbahçe play a 4-3-3 setup established by former manager Aykut Kocaman.
The system was continued by Ersun Yanal who won the league title last season and current Fenerbahçe boss Ismail Kartal uses the same setup.
Diego has failed to establish himself as a regular first-team player yet. The former Brazil international has failed to score or provide an assist in five starts for the Yellow Canaries.
