Diego: “Ismail Kartal wants me to dictate the tempo of the team”

Fenerbahce’s Diego Ribas has spoken about Ismail Kartal’s expectations of him at the club.
The former Atletico Madrid play-maker spoke with Fenerbahce’s official magazine.
“Everybody in the team including myself is fully focused on winning the league and participating in the UEFA Champions League next season,” Diego said.
“We want to win the forth star for our club. I am excited to be part of a club which is ambitions.
“The manager Ismail [Kartal] wants me to be the player which dictates the tempo of our team, organises attacks and creates goals.
The 29-year-old was part of the Atletico Madrid side which won the Spanish League and reached the UEFA Champions League final last season.
Diego is yet to register an assist or goal for Fenerbahce after eight first team appearances.
