Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simone lavished praise on his former pupil Arda Turan in his pre-match press conference ahead of the Champions League clash against Barcelona.
Turan made a name for himself at Spain under the stewardship of Simeone going onto win every domestic title as well as all European trophies except the Champions League.
The bearded winger was a star player under the Argentinian manager and Simeone described Turan as someone that ‘gave his heart for the club’.

Turan joined Barcelona on a five-year deal from Atleti over the summer transfer window but had to wait six-months on the sidelines before getting to make his debut.
The Turkish international star has made 17 appearances for Barca scoring twice and providing four assists.
Turan has been included in the squad for the Atleti game and if he does play it will be the first time he has played his former side in the Champions League since leaving.
