Dirk Kuyt reveals he would do everything for Liverpool [divider]

Fenerbahçe winger Dirk Kuyt revealed that he was ready to everything for Liverpool during his time at the Premier League giants.

Kuyt revealed that his work rate won the admiration of many Liverpool players including Steven Gerrard.

“Steven saw I would do everything for my team. In my first season there I played as a second striker and scored 14. But the next year we signed Tores and I moved out to the right. I did that without any problems and Steven liked that,” Kuyt said in an interview with the Sun.

The 34-year-old scored 71 goals in 285 matches for Liverpool and 24 goals in 104 international appearances.

Kuyt and Fenerbahçe teammate Raul Meireles were forced to pull out of the Liverpool FC All-Star charity match on Sunday due to injury however, both will join the LFC TV match-day coverage instead.

Both players picked up an injury during the Yellow Canaries 1-0 win over Beşiktaş in the Istanbul derby last weekend.

Kuyt and Meireles were both former Liverpool players before joining Fenerbahçe.
