Disgraced ex-Man United star linked with move to Turkish Super Lig

Former Manchester United star left-back Patrice Evra has been linked with a move to the Turkish Super League.

The 36-year-old is currently without a club after leaving Ligue 1 giants Marseille by mutual consent in November.

Evra was involved in an altercation with a Marseille fan during the Europa League clash against Vitoria Guimaraes.

The former France international ended up kicking his own fan in the head. The event proved to be Evra’s last as a Marseille player.

Evra also received a fine of £8,829 and has been banned from UEFA competition until the end of the season.

However, that hasn’t deterred Istanbul duo Galatasaray and Fenerbahce.

According to the Turkish outlet Fanatic, the Super Lig giants are set to table offers for Evra in January. Both clubs are on the lookout for a new left back when the transfer window reopens.

Man United take on Bournemouth this week as they look to return to winning ways in the Premier League. The Red Devils suffered a 2-1 defeat at the hands of rivals Man City on Sunday.
