Liverpool contract rebel Emre Can Liverpool legends

Emre Can has stated that Borussia Dortmund and slight favourites when they face Liverpool in the Europa League quarter finals.

The 22-year-old also went onto say that the Red’s are aiming to win the competition.

“Dortmund are the slight favourites,” Can told kicker (via ESPN).

“We have come so far in Europa League, we now want to win the competition.”

Liverpool defeated rivals Manchester United in the last 16 to qualify to the quarters. The Red’s current boss Jurgen Klopp previously managed Dortmund before making the move to England.

Can has been deployed in central midfield under the stewardship Klopp at Liverpool but it seems Germany boss Joachim Low has different plans for the young midfield.

Low has used Can as a full-back every time the 22-year-old has been called up for national team duty.

Can has provided two assists and has scored two goals in 43 appearances for Liverpool this season.
