Dortmund have ‘permitted’ Liverpool target Emre Mor to discuss summer exit, Jurgen Klopp keen on winger

Borussia Dortmund have given Emre Mor permission to hold talks with other clubs this summer according to his agent Muzzi Ozcan.

Dortmund are reportedly open to the idea of Mor leaving on loan and gaining more playing time.

“Dortmund still want Emre however, they are not against him leaving on loan either,” Ozcan was quoted as saying by Turkish-Football.

“We have been permitted to hold talks with other clubs regarding a move.

“There will be a meeting over his future where we will go over what to do next.”

The latest developments will come as good news to Liverpool who are reported to be targeting a loan move for Mor.

Reports in the British media claim that the Reds want Mor on a one-year deal with a buyout option included.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is reported to be a keen admirer of the 19-year-old.

In fact Klopp would be Mor’s manager had he stayed at Dortmund last season.

The 19-year-old has grown frustrated with his lack of playing time at Dortmund under Thomas Tuchel – making 19 appearances in all competitions.

The Bundesliga giants are now coached by Peter Bosz who replaced Tuchel.

Mor had less playing time than he would have hoped this season but he has featured in nine of Turkey’s last nine games.

The rising star featured most recently in the 4-1 victory over Kosovo in the 2017 World Cup qualification Group I.

The victory moved Turkey within just two points of doing group leaders Croatia and Iceland.
