Dortmund will be more ‘dangerous’ at Anfield against Liverpool says Nuri Sahin

Nuri Sahin has revealed that Liverpool should prepare themselves for a far more dangerous looking Borussia Dortmund side in the Europa League quarter-final second-leg tie.

The Turkish international midfielder stated that he was not impressed with his sides lack of quality in the final third and that they will not repeat the same mistakes twice.

Sahin told Sport Bild: “We have to get in dangerous positions more. Only then can we make the most of our attacking strength.”

Dortmund have scored the joint most goals (69) along with Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga this season but could only manage to find the back of the net once at home against Liverpool in the first-leg.

Liverpool go into the second game in Anfield with an away goal after forcing a 1-1 draw. The likes of Sahin and Ilkay Gundogan will be well known to Reds boss Jurgen Klopp who was responsible for putting the duo on the map during his time in charge of the German giants.

Sahin is expected to start against Liverpool after making his full recovery from injury.
