Dutch giants to make £8.7m bid for Man United & Tottenham target, club wants £13m for wonder-kid
Dutch giants PSV have entered the race for Basaksehir forward Cengiz Under according to reports in Turkey.
The Vatan newspaper report that the PSV are prepared to bid £8.7 million for the 19-year-old.
Per the source, Basaksehir are desperate to keep hold of their rising star for at least another season.
The Istanbul based outfit are not against selling Under in the future but want him to develop for another season and compete in their first ever Champions League campaign.
Basaksehir value Under as being worth £13 million.
The Eredivisie outfit could meet competition from Tottenham and Manchester United.
Basaksehir manager Abdullah Avci has himself confirmed that there has been interest from England.
The Istanbul minnows head coach was quoted by Turkish-Football as saying: “There are clubs interested, we have offers from England and France but we want him to stay for another season.
“It is in everyones best interests if he stays at this next season.”
Under finished the season scoring nine goals and providing seven assists in all competitions this season.
Despite being just 19-years-old, Under is a regular call up for the Turkish national team and has two goals in two starts – against Moldova and Kosovo.
