Fenerbahce defender Simon Kjaer wants to stay in Turkey according to his agent Mikkel Beck.

The Fanatik newspaper reported that the Denmark international is on the radar of Manchester United with PSG and Atletico Madrid also showing an interest.

The article claims that Fenerbahce want €15 million from United for Kjaer and that the Red Devils sent scouts to keep tabs on the 27-year-old defender.

Simon Kjaer’s media adviser Lars Hendel gave Turkish-football.com quotes from Kjaer’s agent Mikkel Beck.

Beck denied the rumours, saying: Simon has had a fantastic season, so I understand, that you get a lot of rumours, but as his agent I have heard nothing – and Simon is only focused on Fenerbahce and helping the club to win the title that they deserve.”

“Simon is happy at Fenerbahce and is not looking for a new club.”

Kjaer joined Fenerbahce on an €8 million move from French outfit Lille over the summer transfer window and has established himself as a first team regular.

The experienced defender starred in Denmark’s 2-1 victory over Iceland on Thursday earning his 57th international cap. Kjaer is also expected to feature against Scotland at Hampden Park on Tuesday 29 March.

The Fenerbahce star has one goal in 35 appearances for the Yellow Canaries in all competitions this season.  The Istanbul giants are currently second in the league four points behind leaders Besiktas but do have a game in hand.
