€20m Bundesliga star defender Caglar Soyuncu on Liverpool January shortlist, Man City previously interested
Liverpool have entered the race to sign Freiburg’s highly rated centre-back Caglar Soyuncu.
The powerful centre-back has already established himself as a first-team regular for the Bundesliga side and earned nine Turkey national team caps aged just 21.
A source close to the player has revealed to Turkish-Football.com that Liverpool are among several Premier League clubs keeping tabs on the defender.
Per the source, Soyuncu is keen on a move to the Premier League however, Freiburg are unlikely to sell their star man mid-way though the season unless a bid in the region of €20 million is tabled.

Liverpool are on the lookout for new defenders following a turbulent start to the season. Jurgen Klopp’s side have been heavily criticised for their defending in recent weeks.
Caglar has previously been linked with a move to Liverpool’s title rivals Manchester City.
