West Ham striker Emmanuel Emenike started in the 2-2- draw against Premier League leaders Leicester City.

The on-loan Fenerbahce striker put on a hard working display and only Dimitri Payet created more chances than the Nigerian international striker (4).

However, he did – along with Victor Moses – have the most unsuccessful touches of the ball (4) and lost the ball more times than any other player (2).

Emenike’s failure to keep possession frustrated West Ham fans on social media with several tweeters criticising his performance.

The experienced striker has a total of two-goals in all competitions for the Gunners since joining on a temporary move from Fenerbahce.

Emenike has however, yet to score a single goal in the Premier League and did not manage to take a shot on target against Leicester.

The Hammers have a buy-out option to sign Emenike at the end of the season but Slaven Bilic has remained coy on whether he will push the board to active the clause in his contract.
