Emre Belözoğlu involved in swearing controversy [divider]
Fenerbahçe midfielder Emre Belözoğlu allegedly swore at Beşiktaş manager Slaven Bilic and his technical staff during the 2-0 derby win.
Belözoğlu was filmed allegedly swearing during a heated moment on 41 minutes following a challenge by Olcay Şahan which resulted in the Beşiktaş winger being sent off.
Reports following the game suggest Belözoğlu’s comments were directed at Slaven Bilic and his technical staff. The incident looked similar to the events which lead to Beşiktaş winger Gökhan Töre being sent off last week. Töre was sent off against Erciyesspor after manager Bülent Korkmaz complained to the linesman that Töre had swore at him. Beşiktaş forward Mustafa Pektemek was also filmed swearing in the derby against Fenerbahçe.
