Emre Can delivers at both ends of the pitch in Liverpool draw with Bordeaux

Emre Can played the full 90 minutes during Liverpool’s 1-1 draw with the Ligue 1 side Bordeaux.

The Red’s looked set to record a comfortable victory when Adam Lallana scored midway though the second half. However, Bordeaux struck back late on in the 81st minute and were unfortunate not to come away with all three points.

The 21-year-old received a rating of 6.92 from whoscored. Can made one successful tackle, two interceptions and made a total of four clearances during the game.

The young midfielder made the the joint highest number of interceptions in tonights encounter.

Can also made 56 passes over the course of the game with an incredible accuracy rate of 95 percent.

The result leaves Liverpool in second place with one point after one game. The Red’s take on the newly promoted Norwich City this weekend in the Premier League.

Can has featured in all of Liverpool’s games this season and is playing in his favoured midfield role.
