Emre Can played the full ninety minutes in midfield alongside club captain Jordan Henderson and Lucas Leiva.
The 21-year-old received a rating of just 6.38 from WhoScored. Can made three tackles, one interception and two clearances. The Germany international also made one key pass but was only able to maintain a passing accuracy of 75%.
Can has struggled in recent weeks in central midfield with his passing accuracy averaging at 81% this season in the league.
Liverpool remain in ninth position following todays defeat with 24 points in 17 games. Watford also remain in seventh place with 28 points in 17 matches.
The Hornets have now won four games in a row and are just a point off the top four.
