Emre Can has expressed his excitement at Liverpool’s summer signing’s ahead of the upcoming 2015-16 Premier League campaign.
Liverpool have signed Roberto Firmino, Joe Gomez James Milner, Adam Bogdan, Danny Ings, Nathaniel Clyne, Christian Benteke so far this summer.
“It has all gone very well – they all seem to have settled in quickly, and I think all of the new guys are feeling good,” Can told Liverpool’s official website.
“Liverpool Football Club only ever buys players in order to strengthen the squad and team, and it would make no sense not to have done so during this summer window as well.”
Can was given extended lead after participating in the U21 European Championship’s with Germany.
The 21-year-old played a staring role in the 2015 U21 European Championships, scoring in Germany’s opener and providing an assist in his sides second game.
Can will be hoping to move into central midfield this season after spending the last league campaign as a makeshift defender in Rodgers back-three and to a lesser extent a right-back.
The Germany u21 international made a total of 27 appearances for Liverpool last season and also featured in the FA Cup and Europa League.
