Emre Can is expected to start for Liverpool against Ludogorets in the Champions League Group B.
Can has received more playing time lately, featuring in Liverpool’s last three games including starts ahead Real Madrid and Chelsea.
The 20-year-old could be joined by Gerrard and Henderson in midfield.
Brendan Rodgers will be without Sturridge (thigh), Balotelli (hamstring), Flanagan (knee), Suso (groin) and Sakho is a doubt.
Liverpool must beat Ludogerets, hope Real Madrid beat Basel and then defeat the Swiss champions on Match Day 6 to secure a place in the Last 16.
The Reds have not scored in Group B since beating Ludogorets 2-1 in the opening group game.
Liverpool are currently level on three points with Ludogorets, three points behind Basel and six behind Real Madrid.
