Emre Can expected to start for Liverpool tomorrow against Watford

Liverpool team news Emre Can

Emre Can is expected to keep his place in Liverpool’s starting line-up when the Red’s take on Watford in the Premier League tomorrow. The game takes place at Vicarage Road and kick-off is at 13:30 (GMT).

The 21-year-old has been a constant feature in Jurgen Klopp’s starting XI since the German manager’s appointment.  Klopp has opted to use Can primarily in midfield whereas the Red’s former manager Brendan Rodgers frequently played the 21-year-old in defence.

Can is expected to start alongside club captain Jordan Henderson and James Milner in Liverpool’s three man midfield.

Liverpool sit in ninth place with 24 points in 16 games in the league and have gone two weeks without a win. The Red’s can move up to fifth place with a win tomorrow depending on results of other sides.

Watford have been in stunning form and go into tomorrow’s clash on the back of three back-to-back wins. The Hornets sit in seventh place with 25 points in 16 games.
