Emre Can misses penalty in Liverpool's win over Stoke City

Emre Can

Emre Can played the full 120 minutes during Liverpool’s win over Stoke City in the League Cup semi finals.

The 22-year-old put in an industrious display and missed a penalty during his sides penalty shootout.

Liverpool will await the result between Manchester City and Everton to see who they face in the cup final.

Can has established himself as a first-team regular in central midfield since the appointment of Klopp. The Germany international has one goal and an assist in 32 appearances for the Reds in all competitions this season.

Liverpool take on an in-form West Ham United this weekend in the Premier League. Jurgen Klopp’s side will be looking to build upon last weekend’s and tonight’s result as they look to climb up the table.
