Emre Can played a staring role in Liverpool’s 4-1 win over Manchester City in the Premier League yesterday.

The 21-year-old played in his favoured midfield position once again and received a rating of 7.39 from Whoscored.

Can made two key passes – one of which was an outrageous back-heel –  three dribbles and maintained a passing accuracy of 69%. The Germany international also one successful tackle and one interception.


Liverpool moved up to ninth place with 20 points in 13 games following yesterdays victory. The Red’s take on Bordeaux in the Europa League on Thursday and host Swansea City at Anfield next weekend.

Can has scored one goal in 18 appearances for Liverpool this season.
