Liverpool star Emre Can is set to return from suspension that ruled him out against Newcastle United on the weekend and be included in the starting lineup against West Brom on the weekend.

The 21-year-old did not feature in the 2-0 defeat against Newcastle United but is expected to start in central midfield against West Brom at Anfield.

Can starred in the goalless draw against Sion in the Europa League on the weekend that ensure Liverpool progressed the Round of 32 in first place.

The Germany international of Turkish origin has one goal in 22 appearances in all competitions for the Reds this season.

Can was deployed in defensive positions as a centre-back and full-back under the stewardship of former manager Brendan Rodgers but has been shifted to his preferred central-midfield role following the appointment of Jurgen Klopp.
