Emre Can has set Liverpool the goal of winning their final three games of the season. The Reds would lift the Europa League title if they do manage to win all their last matches.

Can was quoted by the Liverpool Echo as saying: “Next year I want to go again, but this year we still have three more games and they are very, very important games and we want to win them.”

Liverpool take on Sevilla in the Europa League final at the end of the month after beating Villarreal 3-0 in the semi-final second leg last Thursday.

Can was expected to miss the clash in fact there were fears that he could not only miss the rest of the season but also the European Championships this summer after picking up an injury.

The Germany international of Turkish origin has however, recovered sooner than expected and played a starring role in the win over Villarreal.

Can could feature against Chelsea in the Premier League tonight but is almost certain to be fully fit for the Europa League final.

The young midfielder has two goals and three assists in 47 appearances for the Reds this season.
