Emre Can thanks God following Liverpool’s win

Emre Can has taken to the social media website Instagram to congratulate his sides 2-0 victory over Burnley in the Premier league.

The 21-year-old played in defence along side Skrtel and Lovren and was the forth highest rated player on the field according to whoscored.com (7.19).

Can posted a picture of himself praying along with the caption, “3 important points again!!! Well done boys!!! #elhamdulillah #ynwa #liverpool”

The Reds have recorded four victories in a row and find themselves in 5th place with 51 points in 28 games.

Liverpool have not lost a Premier League game in which Can has started in defence. The 21-year-old was signed from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer as a central midfielder. Rodgers has however, used Can primarily as a defender this season.

The Germany U21 international has one goal and one assist in 28 appearances in all competitions this season for Liverpool.
