Emre Can to replace Steven Gerrard in Liverpool's midfield

Emre Can will replace Steven Gerrard in midfield for Liverpool according to the Daily Mail.

The report stats that the Red’s boss Brendan Rodgers is planning to play Andre Wisdom at right back despite the player falling out of favour under Tony Pulis at West Brom.

This will free Emre Can to play in his natural position in midfield. The 21-year-old joined Liverpool as a central midfielder from Bayer Leverkusen on a £9.75 million move in the summer but has played most of the season as a defender in Reds boss Brendan Rodgers back-three.
