Emre Mor joins Man Utd star among youngest players to provide assist in the Euro’s

Borussia Dortmund star Emre Mor became the third youngest player to provide an assist in the European Championships when he setup Burak Yilmaz with the opening goal in the 2-0 victory over Czech Republic yesterday.

Mor setup the opening goal in what was his first start of the European Championships in a result that could miraculously book Turkey a place in the next round of Euro 2016.

The 18-year-old attacking midfielder became the third youngest player to setup a goal in the history of the tournament after Wayne Rooney and Scifo.

Mor put on a brilliant performance giving the Czech Republic defence a nightmare constantly threatening on the break and when in possession.

The youngster has won over a lot of fans recently including Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger.

Wenger was quoted by the Milliyet as saying: “He came on against Croatia and I must say I was impressed by his talented he was.”

Turkey now require Italy and Belgium not to lose their games tomorrow in Group E. Alternatively if Hungary beat Portugal in Group F the Crescent Stars will also book a place in the next round.
