Ersan Gulum has been drafted into the Turkish national team after Omer Toprak rejected his call-up.

The Leverkusen defender has vowed to never play for the national team again following an incident with his fellow-German born international teammate Gökhan Töre in 2013, according to German newspaper Kicker.
