Ersun Yanal to implement sweeping changes at Trabzonspor [divider]
Recently appointed Trabzonspor manager Ersun Yanal has revealed that he will be implementing sweeping changes.
“These players must be covering a distance of 11-12 km per-game, their current fitness levels are not adequete,” Yanal said.
“The current training methods and tactics being used at the club are archaic, these systems were used 10 years ago.
“We have brought in three new training methods to help the players adapt to modern football.
“We need to play well, the results will follow.
“We are headed into a tough series of fixtures, we must improve our home and away form.
“The weather is going to take a turn for the worse, it will not be easy so we must be well prepared.”
The 52-year-old manager is expected to shift from the current 4-2-3-1 setup to a 4-3-3 formation.
Yanal replaced Vahid Halilhodzic as manager of Trabzonspor last week. The Bosnian manager brought in 22 new players over the summer transfer window.
