Ersun Yanal: ‘We did not play as a team’

Trabzonspor manager Ersun Yanal has revealed that he was disappointed with Trabzonspor’s performance in the Turkish Cup.
The Black Sea Storm drew 1-1 with third division side Keçiörengücü in the first Turksih Cup group. The Turkish national team manager spoke with reporters after the game.
“Trabzonspor aims to win every game it is ever involved in,” Yanal said
“Sometimes the performance of the players is more important than the result.
“We did not do ourselves justice today. We did not play as a team.”
Trabzonspor have won three out of four under Yanal, beating Galatasaray away, Gençlerbirliği and Metalist in the Europa League.
Ersun Yanal’s side take on Süper Lig leaders Beşiktaş t on Sunday 7 December.
