Romanian manager Cosmin Olaroiu was hired by Saudi Arabia on a part-time basis to lead the side through the Asian Cup.

Saudi Arabia were eliminated at the group stage of the Asian Cup for the second successive time.

Olaroiu will return to club football at Al Ahli as they continue efforts to defend their Arabian Gulf League title.

Sağlam was appointed as manager of Eskişehirspor this summer but only remained in charge for a few months after a poor run of results.

Bursaspor became the second Turkish team outside of Istanbul to win the Turkish Süper Lig when they lifted the title in 2010-11 under the guidance of Sağlam.

The 45-year-old has also managed Turkish giants Beşiktaş.
