Eskişehirspor complete signing of Brighton midfielder Toko [divider]

Eskişehirspor have completed the signing of Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Nzuzi Bundebele Toko.

The club released a statement confirming the transfer on their official website and shared an image of the played signing for EsEs wearing the team shirt.

The statement read: “Nzuzi Bundebele Toko has signed a 2.5 year deal with Eskişehirspor.”

Toko joined Albion from Grasshoppers on a three-year deal in the summer but his contract was terminated by mutual consent.

Despite representing both Congo and Switzerland as a youngster Toko later switched allegiances to represent his country of birth.

The 24-year-old scored on his senior international debut for Congo in a 2-0 win over Saudi Arabia in May 2010.

Toko was included in Congo’s 28-man provisional squad for the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations but did not make the final squad.

EsEs are currently 13th with 16 points the Süper Lig and recently parted ways with head coach Ertuğrul Sağlam.

German manager Michael Skibbe was appointed head coach during the winter break.
