Euro giants add Leicester City ace Schmeichel to shortlist, keeper sparked media storm after social media incident
Leicester City goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel sparked transfer speculation in the Turkish press after he followed several Fenerbahce player accounts on Instagram yesterday.
Schmeichel followed the accounts of Volkan Demirel, Martin Skrtel, Robin van Persie and Gregory van der Wiel leading to speculation of talks behind the scenes with Fenerbahce.

It now appears that Schmeichel is on the Fenerbahce shortlist.
A source close to Fenerbahce revealed to Turkish-Football that Schmeichel is a summer target but that an official bid has not been launched.
Fenerbahce are also closing in on a deal with Arsenal keeper David Ospina but are keeping their option open in case the transfer stalls.
Schmeichel would however, prove tricky for the Yellow Canaries to sign considering he has another four-years remaining on his current deal.
The Foxes will not let Schmeichel leave on the cheap and the Istanbul giants are not in a position to break the bank considering their Financial Fair Play commitments.
