Euro Giants Step Up Efforts To Sign £30m Liverpool Star With ‘Serious Proposal’, Fenerbahce Receive Boost

Inter Milan have made a ‘serious proposal’ to sign Liverpool star Daniel Sturridge according to Goal.

Per the source, the Italian giants want the England international on loan until the end of the season.

The deal would include a loan fee and cover his wages ahead of potentially making his deal permanent at the end of the season.

Inter do face competition from La Liga outfit Sevilla.

Liverpool would prefer to sell Sturridge but his £30 million valuation is putting off potential suitors.

Sturridge has also received interest from Turkey.

The striker has also attracted interest from Super Lig giants Fenerbahce according to Fanatik.

Fenerbahce want Sturridge and were given a boost today after mutually agreeing to terminate the contract of Robin van Persie.

The Yellow Canaries wage bill will be significantly reduced once the former Manchester United and Arsenal striker leaves.

The Dutch star was paid €4.9 million per-season.

Fenerbahce are planning to reinvest the wages in a new forward as the current strikers have struggled for goals.

Vincent Janssen on loan from Tottenham has just three goals this term while Roberto Soldado has four.

The last time Sturridge played for Liverpool was the victory over Spartak Moscow on December 6.
