Euro giants plot move for Chelsea youngster Andreas Christensen who already has 10 Denmark caps

Fenerbahce have set their sights on Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen.

The Turkish daily newspaper Takvim have stated that the Yellow Canaries want to sign Christensen on a season long-loan.

Per the source, Fenerbahce want to sign the Chelsea youngster as a replacement for Simon Kjaer.

The star Denmark international has attracted the attention of Europe’s elite following an impressive season.

Kjaer was included in the Europa League team of the group stages earlier this season.

Turkish-Football recently reported that the Premier League side Liverpool have been keeping tabs on Kjaer this term.

Fenerbahce may be forced into selling Kjaer this summer in order to adhere with FIFA Financial Fair play rules.

Kjaer has provided one goal and three assists in 36 apperances for Fenerbahce this season.

It is unknown whether Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has plans for Christensen next season.

Christensen has spent the past two seasons on loan at the Bundesliga giants Borussia Monchengladbach. The 21-year-old plays alongside Simon Kjaer for the Denmark national team.
