Euro giants strike €2.2m deal with Manchester City star midfielder Fernando

Galatasaray are closing in on the transfer of Manchester City midfielder Fernando.

The Turkish newspaper Milliyet have claimed that the Lions have agreed personal terms with the Brazilian midfielder.

Galatasaray are making major revisions to their squad following a disappointing campaign which saw them finish the league in fourth spot.

Talisman and fan favourite Wesley Sneijder has parted company while the likes of De Jong and Semih Kaya have also left.

Milliyet go onto state that Galatasaray have struck a three-year deal with Fernando worth €2.2 million per season.

However, Galatasaray are yet to agree a transfer fee with Manchester City for the experienced midfielder.

Fernando has not been included in Manchester City’s pre-season squad which traveled to the USA yesterday.
