Everton have made an enquiry for Fenerbahçe midfielder Raul Meireles according to Eurosport TR.
The Toffees have been closely linked with the Portugal international over recent weeks.
The Metro reported that Everton are keeping tabs on Meireles and could make a summer swoop for the experienced midfielder.
The 32-year-old has a year to run on his contract with the Yellow Canaries but the Turkish giants could be tempted to sell for the right price.
Meireles won PFA Fans’ Player of the Year in 2011 during his time playing at Liverpool and went on to help Chelsea lift the Champions League and win the FA Cup.
The 31-year-old joined Fenerbahçe from Chelsea for €10 million and has won two Turkish Cups as well as the league title.
Meireles has two goals and three assists in 21 appearances for the Canaries this season.
Fenerbahçe are currently third in the Süper Lig, three points behind league leaders Galatasaray.
