Everton Striker Cenk Tosun Could Make History With Wembley Debut Against Tottenham

Everton striker Cenk Tosun could make history if he makes his debut against Tottenham at Wembley.

Tosun would become the first Everton player to score in a debut game played at Wembley Stadium.

The Turkey international will join Paul Bracewell, Paul Power, Kevin Langley and Neil Adams and Gary Lineker who both made their debut for Everton in the Charity Shield at Wembley.

The 26-year-old joined Everton from Besiktas last Friday and has made the traveling squad.

Tosun has never played at Wembley before but he has faced Tottenham twice in the 2014-15 Europa League group stage.

The striker netted four times and provided two assists in the group stage helping the Black Eagles reach the Last 16 stage as group leaders.
