Everton transfer news: Agent confirms talks between Dortmund and Toffees for 20-year-old wonderkid Emre Mor, Huddersfield also interested

Premier League duo Everton and Huddersfield have been in negotiations with Borussia Dortmund star Emre Mor.

The 20-year-old wonder-kid has been closely linked with a move away from the Bundesliga giants this summer.

According to Mor’s former representative Bariz Soofizadeh, contract talks have been held with both Everton and Huddersfield.

“We held talks with both Everton and Huddersfield. Two Bundesliga clubs were also interested,” Soofizadeh was quoted as saying by Ajanspor.

“We came close to striking deals with Fiorentina and Inter.

“Emre wanted to go to Real Madrid or Barcelona however neither expressed an interest in him.”

However, the Turkey international recently parted company with Soofizadeh and is now managed by Hakan Calhanoglu’s agent Bektas Demirtas.

The move has put AC Milan in pole position to sign Mor this summer. Demirtas’s client Calhanoglu made the move from Bundelsiga club Bayer Leverkusen to AC Milan earlier this summer.

Mor was recently in talks with Inter Milan however, talks broke down at an advanced stage.

Meanwhile, the Sun claim that Liverpool are among several European clubs who are also interested in the Turkey international’s signature.

The former FC Nordsjaelland winger made just 12 Bundesliga appearances for Dortmund last season.
