Everton v Liverpool – Confirmed starting line-up’s – Emre Can starts his first Merseyside derby
Emre Can is expected to make his 11th start in a row in the Merseyside derby against Everton. Liverpool are unbeaten verses Everton since October 2010.
Can will start once again on the right hand side of a three man defence. The Germany U20 international will be joined by Skrtel and Sakho at the back. Liverpool have conceded just seven goals since Can was moved into defence.
Can has made a total of 19 appearances for Liverpool since joining from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer.
