Ex Arsenal striker starts against Real Madrid – Confirmed XI's

Real Madrid welcome Galatasaray to Madrid for the 36th edition of the Santiago Bernabeu Cup at their home stadium.

Lions boss Hamza Hamzaoğlu has decided to start with a strong team side against Real.

Selçuk Inan and former Real madrid youth Jose Rodriguez have both been given the go ahead in central midfield while former Real Madrid star Wesley Sneijder has also been including in the starting XI.

Tarık Çamdal, Koray Günter and Emre Çolak have all been given rare starts against the La Liga giants.

Former Arsenal striker Lukas Podolski will also start after scoring on his debut against Sivasspor on the weekend.

Podolski joined the Lions from Arsenal over the summer transfer window and won his first piece of silverware – the Turkish Super Cup – on his official debut.

Turkish international striker Burak Yılmaz has however, been dropped for the second consecutive game and the Lions will be without Chedjou, Semih Kaya, Burak Yılmaz, Hamit Altıntop and Felipe Melo.
