Expected Turkey lineup against Netherlands [divider]
The expected Turkish national team starting XI has been revealed by Lig Tv.
Volkan Babacan is expected to start in goal after experienced goalkeeper Volkan Demirel has been left out of the squad.
Fenerbahçe duo Gökhan Gönül and Caner Erkin are expected to be deployed as fullbacks. Hakan Balta and Ersan Gülüm are likely to be Fatih Terim’s centre-back duo.
Mehmet Topal is expected to start in a holding midfield position alongside Emre Belözoğlu or Selçuk İnan.
Bayer Leverkusen star Hakan Çalhanoğlu is likely to be used as a central attacking midfielder with Gökhan Töre and Kazim Richards on the flanks.
Galatasaray striker Burak Yılmaz is expected to start upfront.
Terim will be without Arda Turan due to suspension while Ömer Toprak turned down his call up after failing to resolve his problem with Töre.
