Emre Can produced one of the moments 0f the weekend during Liverpool’s 4-1 win over last seasons runners-up Manchester City in the Premier League.
The 21-year-old pulled off an outrageous back-heel pass in the lead-up to his sides third goal against the Citizens.
Can’s pass split open City’s defense allowing Coutinho to lay off an easy goal for Roberto Firmino.
The Germany international played the full 90 minutes in Liverpool’s win over City. Can was included in the starting line-up despite enduring a difficult international week with the Germany national team.
Liverpool moved up to ninth place with 20 points in 13 games following yesterday’s victory. The Red’s take on Bordeaux in the Europa League on Thursday and host Swansea City at Anfield next weekend.
We took to Twitter after the back-heel to see how it went down on social media.
Following the game we took to Twitter to see how Can’s performance went down with Liverpool fans. Safe to say the Red’s fans were impressed with the 21-year-old after yesterday’s show.
17 hours later and I'm still struggling to come to terms with that Emre Can backheel.

Emre Can's backheels wears turtlenecks, smokes Marlboro Black, quotes Nietzsche, and Carl Sagan, and lucid dreams. #hipster
