Fans reacts as Emre Can scores the first Liverpool goal under Klopp

Emre Can went down as the first Liverpool player in history to score under the stewardship of Jurgen Klopp during the 1-1 draw against Rubin Kazan in the Europa League during the week.

The 21-year-old was nicknamed the ‘Germanator’ by his friend who goes by the Instagram name Cnyt12.

Can’s pal shared a picture of the Reds star celebrating his goal alongside the caption: “No Words ! #liverpool #bro #emrecan #elhamdulillah #ec23 #germanator.”

Can has also been nicknamed the tank and even a ‘Rolls Royce’ by former manager Brendan Rodgers for his physical style of play. The Germany international got to start in his preferred central midfield role against Kazan.

The 21-year-old is one of three ethnic Turks in the current Germany national team alongside Arsenal star Mesut Özil and Borussia Dortmund midfielder İlkay Gündoğan.

Liverpool have drawn their first two games under the command of Klopp. The Reds were held to a goalless draw against Tottenham in his first game in charge and a 1-1 draw against Kazan yesterday.
